Description
Strokestown Golf Club is a nine hole , par 70 parkland course, nestled at the foot of the picturesque Sliabh Ban mountain . Its prime location is under two hour drive hour from Dublin, Galway, Westport and one hour from Sligo. This hidden gem is located on the N5 , Dublin to Westport route, 2km east of the historic town of Strokestown, famous for its famine museum at Strokestown Park House.
It is also a half an hour from tree county towns Roscommon, Longford and Carrick-On-Shannon.
The course utilises the natural contours of the existing lands and provides a relaxing and enjoyable golfing experience all year round.
All nine holes will test the extent of your golfing skills and challenges all grades of golfer. If you enjoy a challenge, we invite you to try and master our course.
Strokestown Golf Club welcomes all patrons and golfers of all levels, from beginners to experienced golfers, ladies, junior and senior golfers. Golf societies are always welcome. Special rates are available to societies on request.
