The Course
Moate Golf Club is an 18-Hole, Parkland Golf Course, set in the Midlands of Ireland.
Founded in 1900, we have been part of the community in Westmeath for 120 years, and Moate is proud of the reputation the Club has earned over the years.
Membership is OPEN and Visitors/Societies are welcome, with full catering and bar facilities in the “Par 3 Restaurant”
Our course offers a fair challenge to golfers of all ages and abilities, and the friendliness of our staff and members is legendary!
Moate is situated just off the M6 Motorway, less than an hour from Dublin and Galway City (HERE)
The course can be accessed conveniently from the Main Street of Moate, just beside the entrance to the Greenway and the old Railway Station.
The course is set in gently rolling parkland, with plenty of special features, including a medieval Bull Ring, a newly refurbished Lime Kiln and the ‘Soldiers Bunkers’ dating back to the Jacobite war.
We are a members owned club, and are proud of the history surrounding our club, and our achievements on the golf course (Three All Ireland pennants, so far!).
The course is constantly being developed – latest additions include expanded Tee Boxes (3rd and 4th) as well as a re-designed 9th hole to include a pot bunker on the fairway.
We offer FULL Bar, Restaurant and Shop facilities, in a well maintained clubhouse.
